The biggest of Balearic Islands is also a center of Spanish nautical tourism-Mallorca. The name itself says that this is 'bigger island', bigger then Minorca, the smallest island, which with Ibiza and Formentera is forming The Cabrera archipelago.

This charming town has also great places to anchorage, beautiful sea. Also must see is Soller, town located around 3km inland, prom its port. Soller is situated in fertile valley, known by orange groves and ancient olive terraces.

One of the most popular and prestigious yacht ports in Europe is Puerto Portals, 16 km away from airport and around 10 km from Palma. Port has up to 700 moorings. This is a home of many worlds' class yacht events, such as Omega Regatta, Off-Shore Class 1 Championship or Open UAP.
In general, here in Mallorca has well developed sailing and yacht infrastructure and also well-equipped harbors. As Spanish sailing and yacht center, Mallorca has over 10 000 yacht moorings and around 40 marinas. The most interesting and the most visited sailing destination are situated near Palma de Mallorca. Thanks to numerous cliffs and bays, long sand beaches and beautiful scenery, this is destination that will fulfill all your needs. One of the most popular destinations is surely La Cabrera, National Park-be aware that you need to special permission to enter, than at northeast two calm bays Polenca and Alcudia. These two bays are providing serenity and privacy.

Mallorca is known for its beautiful Mediterranean climate. This type of temperature is qualified with hot, dry summers from May to September and rainy autumn and winter. Temperature average is between 16-18°C with 29-31°C in the summertime and 5-9°C in the winter.
